Privacy policy
Preview build. The operator named on this website, Alex Tan — Demo Agent of Example Property Agency — fictional, is a placeholder and does not exist. The registration form validates your input in your browser but does not transmit it anywhere: no lead delivery service is connected, and nothing you type is stored or sent. This policy describes how the website is designed to handle personal data once a real, CEA-licensed operator and a lead-delivery destination are configured. It will be updated with the operator's actual details before the site goes live.
1. Who is responsible for your data
This website is an independent informational platform about the Holland Plain residential site in Bukit Timah, Singapore. It is not operated by, and is not affiliated with, Sim Lian or any developer. On a live build the organisation responsible for personal data collected through this site is the real estate salesperson and agency named in the footer of the project page. For this preview the named operator is fictional and no organisation collects data through the site.
2. What we collect and why
The registration form asks for your name, your Singapore mobile number, an optional email address, what you would like to receive (a launch brief, floor plans and a price list, or a showflat appointment) and the home size you have in mind, together with your confirmation that you agree to be contacted. We ask only for what a salesperson needs to respond to your enquiry. The purpose is to send you the project information you requested as the developer releases it, and to arrange a viewing if you ask for one.
Consent is given by ticking the box on the form and sending it. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the privacy contact in section 9; the salesperson will then stop contacting you about this project, subject to any record needed to show that a request was actioned.
3. Analytics and advertising
No analytics, advertising or tracking pixel is installed on this preview. If a live build adds one (for example, an advertising platform's conversion pixel to measure the effectiveness of an advertisement that brought you here), this section will name the service and describe what it collects.
4. Embedded map
The Location section embeds a map served by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address, and may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy policy. This website does not add any link to Google Maps and does not pass your form details to Google. If you prefer not to load the map, use a browser setting or extension that blocks third-party frames.
5. How your data is handled on a live build
When a lead-delivery destination is configured, the form sends your details over an encrypted HTTPS connection to that service, which forwards them to the named salesperson. The service will be named here before the site goes live. Data is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not sold or shared with other parties, except with the salesperson's agency as required by their professional obligations, or where the law requires it.
6. WhatsApp and telephone contact
This preview shows the salesperson's mobile number as a non-clickable placeholder. On a live build the project page may offer a WhatsApp chat link and a tap-to-call link. Using them opens WhatsApp or your phone's dialler and starts a conversation with the salesperson directly; WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply to messages sent through it.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. The only cookies that may be set come from the embedded Google map described in section 4.
8. Retention
No data is retained through this preview. On a live build the salesperson will keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and to meet their professional record-keeping obligations, and a specific retention period will be stated here before launch.
9. Your rights and how to contact us
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 you may ask to access or correct the personal data held about you and may withdraw consent to its use. For this preview, requests would go to privacy@example.invalid — demonstration only; this address does not receive mail. A live build will show a working privacy contact here. If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled you may approach the Personal Data Protection Commission, Singapore.
10. Security
Reasonable technical measures, including encrypted transmission, are used to protect personal data on a live build. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy will be revised when the operator, lead-delivery service, analytics or retention details change. The date at the top shows the current version.
